Fiber Optic
Some Glock slides are thinner at the front sight hole, and the sight's mounting post may protrude. This causes the set screw to tighten against the sight instead of the slide. To correct this, file some material off the bottom of the post (indicated in silver) so that the post sits below flush.

Description

Precision CNC machined from hardened 4140 tool steel and finished in black QPQ salt bath nitrocarburizing (aka Melonite, same as the Glock slide).

  • Fits: ALL Glock models, all calibers, all frame sizes, all slide sizes.
    • Fiber optic (.060" rod with .075" diameter counterbore on 40lpi serrated blade face for flared bulb).
    • Compatible with .250" blade height rear sights.  NOT compatible with Glock factory rear sights, fixed or adjustable, as they are shorter than .250" blade height.
  • Height: .215", .235" and .250"
    • ALL Glock models, regardless of size, caliber, or generation, most commonly use the .215" front.
    • Glock 34/35, 41, 17L, 24L most commonly uses the .235" front. Sights do not overhang slide cutout.
    • Glock 48 uses .250" front with our Glock MOS Standard Height Rear Sight.
    • The .235" front lowers impact approximately 2-3" at 25 yards relative to the .215" front.
    • The .250" front lowers impact approximately 3-5" at 25 yards relative to the .215" front.
    • Please note that different guns will vary in regards to point of impact, especially with differing shooter preference. These heights are recommendations, and we cannot guarantee point of impact due to variations in individual guns. Point of impact will vary by *individual gun* and not so much by generation.
  • Width: .125", .115"
    • Blade width is strictly personal preference.  Thinner fronts cover less of the target area and are preferred for speed.  Thicker blades like the .125" are preferred for improved accuracy and are our most popular.

All sights include set screw and one section each of red and green .060" fiber optic rods.

**INSTALL ONLY TO MAX TORQUE OF 6 INCH/LBS or else you may risk cracking the threaded post.

***Due to manufacturing tolerances by our fiber optic supplier, there may be slight variation in the diameter of the fiber optic rod. Use a razor blade or X-Acto knife at 90 degrees to the rod and gently scrape the outside diameter a little bit and it will fit right in without any compromise to the function.

    They don't get any better

We use this front sight as standard fare with the .156 U notch. It is an excellent balance of speed and accuracy. For those of us with aging eyes, it is highly recommended.

Brass bead front sight for G36

I purchased the #0502-235-3 front sight (.125" thick, .235" high, brass bead). For my particular G36, this height worked almost perfectly with the #05-156 rear sight. At 25 yards, I was impacting about 1/4" high. Fit an finish were excellent. The installation was straight forward. The sight picture is excellent and the brass bead seems to be extremely effective at drawing my eye while being subtle enough to not be distracting.

    Glock brass bead front sight

10-8 parts are the highest quality available for the 1911, and Glock user. The service is consistently first class. The brass bead in combination with the 10-8 .156 rear sight provides a clear and fast sight picture for defensive shooting. I would like to encourage 10-8 to consider offering a large bead gold front sight too. It doesn't get any better than 10-8 quality!

    Great Customer Service, Excellent Products!

Easy install. The tritium front with the .156 notch rear are my new favorite sights for my Glock pistols. Best customer service I've received in a long time as well. Thanks!

    Fast, easy, accurate

I have trouble acquiring a proper sight picture - particularly under pressure as in an IDPA match. I also wear bi-focals, so I'm learning to adapt. Put a 10-8 rear and tritium front on my G19 and - 1st trip to the range - am very impressed. Running a few drills proved quite rewarding and I can't wait to this setup at the next match.

    Fiber Optic Front Sight

Very well made and will stand up to the abuse of duty or the average shooter. Can not say enough about 10-8's product or customer service!

    Tritium Front Sight

Super easy to install! Having the extra light on each side of the front sight and having the U-shaped rear sight makes it so fast and natural to get a sight picture. With the narrow front sight, accuracy was immediately increased, as the area on the target covered is decreased. I am slowly swapping them out on all my glocks. Love these sights, wish I had gotten them a long time ago!

    Brass Bead Front Sight

I was shopping for new sights for my Glock 19. I have to say I was on the fence about choosing the brass bead front sight, but I am sure glad that I chose this sight. It provides an excellent aiming reference point, and like all 10-8 products it's made with great attention to detail, and built for hard use. I highly recommend this sight to others.

Brass Bead is a good compromise

I purchased a .125"x .215" brass bead for my Glock Gen3 G17 some time ago. I have since moved it to my Gen4 G17. It was POA/POI on both guns. To sum it up, I love this front sight. It's bomb proof, but still very fast. If you are only going to have one pistol for competition and carry/duty, this should be your front sight.
