Our flat head grip screws are made to the original GI print, and have a concave slot profile to allow the use of a cartridge rim as a field expedient screwdriver. Set of 4.
Prehardened 416 stainless bar stock with natural finish. For standard GI thickness grip panels, do not fit thin grips unless shortened.

Restores my 1911 to its authentic look
I had a set of those allen-wrench grip screws on my 1911 (because I had experienced a screwdriver slip and scratched my grip panel). But I've always admired how the J M Browning design permitted complete disassembly of the pistol with no tools - that each part you removed provided the tool to remove subsequent parts. Pure Genius! So I restored my pistol to that state.

Perfect fit!! Brings back the classic look and ability to not need a stupid star bit just to take off my grips. High quality, fit and finish. Highly recommended if you want to dump the torx or allen head screws that manufacturers are installing now.

Best grip screws on the market.
These are the best! The ability to use a fired shell casing rim to tighten down grip screws may seem unnecessary.....until you're at the range without the proper size screw driver, Torx or allen head tool. The quality is what everyone has come to expect from 10-8...Perfect.

1911 Grip Screws
SWEET! The ability to use a .45 case rim to tighten the screw down? Brilliant! (Ok, stollen from the commercial, but apt.) While I take time to pay attention to my gun prior to range days, sometimes the grips loosen anyway, or I don't put in the maintenance time like I should. I've got these on three 1911s, and I wish that they were mandatory for everyone with a 1911 that I work with to have these on their guns. Makes range life easier.

Another hit
This reiteration of the classic grip screw would make John Browning proud. The origonal design for the 1911 allowed the shell casing to act as an emergency recoil spring plug as well as a driver for the grip screws. Mr. Yam retained this intentional design ensuring the quality to his usual high standards. While torx and hex screws may have some appeal, the classic look these screwws add are well worth the price.Good job Mr. Yam.

10-8 flat head grip screws
I bought these to replace those crazy torx screws on my Springfield 1911. Now there is no need to carry extra tool to get my gun apart. They function great and look even better !!! Thanks 10-8 !!!

Best grip screws available
These are yet another must have 10-8 product for a 1911! I can't count the number of hex screws I've broken or twisted in two over the years trying to keep them tight. Especially with composite grips. I've never had the problem with these! Add I always have a .45 round handy with a 1911 so I'll never have to worry about having something to tighten a screw. These have been slowly replacing the grip screws on all my 1911's!

Back to the basics
Easy on, easy off. No special tools required. I actually used my fired brass when I needed to tighten them down while at the range. Very practical and is a must on working guns.

Excellent Grip Screws
I was tired of the hex torx Allen head screws in these were just what the 1911 needed easy to install 45. Cartridge installed them just to see if it would in it works Ty 10-8 performance.. !!
