Excellent Grip Screws
I was tired of the hex torx Allen head screws in these were just what the 1911 needed easy to install 45. Cartridge installed them just to see if it would in it works Ty 10-8 performance.. !!

All my 1911's now have these screws. They are well worth the $$$$
I have four 1911, They had different type screws on all of them. Some Allen Heads and Torx Head and Flat Heads. When I went to change the last Torx Head screw the head stripped. I was able to tap a metric Allen head wrench into the Torx head and with great relief I got it out. I will never have this problem again. All of the 1911's nave these new screws. It is an investment that was a little costly but well worth it.

Common sense
Why would you want any other screws? I know I always carry a hex wrench in my pocket... yeah right.

Nothing Beats the Original
Like all of Hilton's 1911 parts, the GI Pattern Grip Screws are superbly machined and finished. The classic look compliments any 1911 and the concave slot makes it easy to secure your grips for prolonged use without damaging the finish of your grips or the threads in your grip bushings. Truly superb fit, finish and function for about $12. What's not to like?

Better looking and practical.
I love the look of these on my stainless SA 1911. Replaced the Torx screws with these, and find them much more practical (option to use a cartridge is nice), and much more durable.

Way better than Torx!
Installed these on my Kimber to get rid of the Torx head screws. Very nice looking and if they ever come loose I can tighten them up with a case! The last pair of screws I ordered from Brownells weren't able to be tightened with a case only a narrow flat blade screwdriver.

Pleasantly impressed
My Springfield Armory TRP Operator came with those stupid torx tip screws that require you to have (speial tools) for disassembly. Nedless to say i hated them. So i started searching for the original GI style screws and could not find them only the ones that use a flat tip screwdriver and look GI style. Then i came across these. The original GI style alows you to use the rim of the .45 ACP round to remove them. Jack pot these are perfect if you want a true GI style screw. I was alittle hesatant due to the $11.95 price tag for 4 little screws but when i recieved them in the mail i could see that they were well worth that price. The fit and finish is also perfect. If i could rate them 10 stars i would. These will be going in all of my 1911's from this point forward even if they doubled the price.
