NM rear sight
Install was a hefty deal of fine file work on the sight so it would fit a Springfield GI model. The work was worth it--Any POI shift was low but very minimal. Solid after install. Put 200 rounds through it after install and remains unmoving. Great so far.

1911 NM Rear Sight
Perfect

10-8 is great!
Minor fitting into my Tisas stakeout. Compliments the Novak megadot I installed in the front. So much better!!

Great Product
I needed a high quality dovetail rear sight for a classic 1911 pistol. Who else would I trust other than 10- 8 performance? Hilton is the man.

Excellent
I installed this on a Girsan beater 1911. They have a propietary sight cut, that looks sort of like a Novak, but is nowhere near. Turns out the dovetail portion of the cut is a regular old GI cut. There aren't many "modern" sight options on the market for that cut, and this is hands down the best. I really like tge sight picture. The u notch and the rounded corners drive your eyes right to the front sight. Really nice machining and finishing.

NM Rear Sight
Don't Judge me. I picked up a "Piddle Work" Tisas Aviator. Yes I live in the South its a Slang term for keeping your hands busy. The rear on the Aviator is tight for me. The NM Rear sight is Great quality material and believe this will work out fine. Meanwhile, the Aviator has experienced a problem...Imagine that. Its gone back to mama for an attitude adjustment. I plan to install the NM Rear when it returns.

Best GI rear sight
No doubt there are better sighting systems for a 1911 but they also cost a lot of money if you need to cut another type of dovetail. 10-8 solves this issue with this rear sight. Used in conjunction with a nicely done staked front sight will provide a very nice and fast sight picture. This is way better than a factory Government model flimsy and barely visible sight.

10-8 1911 Sight
Simple to install. Nice looking. I replaced an old AO express rear sight with the 10-8. The 1991-A1 9mm shoots to point of aim with the AO white bead front sight.

Pretty much what you would expect from 10-8
I had one of these sights installed on my Series 80 Colt (aka my tinker/project gun), along with a plain-black Novak front sight and found it to be a huge improvement over the three-dot style sights that originally came on the pistol. This is a really good-looking and seemingly rugged sight that is very much of the quality that you would expect from 10-8 and I think it has actually allowed me to shoot the pistol more accurately, due to providing an improved sight picture.
