**If you do not intend to use these pads on a Staccato brand magazine in a Staccato brand grip module on a Staccato C2 with NO MAG WELL of any type, then this product is not for you. This is NOT a magazine extension.
Magazine base pad for STI/Staccato 2011 factory magazine, all generations. Intended for 17rd/126mm length magazine tubes ONLY, including the factory 10/15 round restricted capacity (which is a modified 126mm tube). On a 17rd/126mm length tube, this will lock in ONLY on the shorter C2/VIP/ODS grips (ODS - Officer's Double Stack, as designated by the factory), and provides a 17 round mag which has positive overtravel stop for slide lock reloads.

Machined from 6061 aluminum and anodized matte black. Includes classic 10-8 features: serrated front for easier stripping and more tactile handling, scallops on side for stripping stuck mag, and dimples on the bottom for marking your magazine.
DOES NOT FIT:
- 2019 Slim Tactical Mag well and any other legacy mag wells produced under STI brand name prior to 01/2020
- Post 2020 production Dawson/Staccato Tactical Advantage magazine well
- Any other brand magazine wells, since each have unique internal profiles that make it impossible to achieve positive over insertion stop on all of them.
- Any other brand magazines or tubes other than STI/Staccato factory, as they may not have the same dimensions and therefore cannot be guaranteed to lock in or provide over insertion stop.
**The star will sit below flush due to our plate being thicker. The pad's hole location is set to minimum spec to eliminate any fore/aft play of the pad on the tube, but it can make for a very tight fit for the factory retainer (the star). Here the solutions to try if the star isn’t popping up into the base pad:
1) Hold the mag tube and rap the serrated front of the base pad on a wooden block, inertia usually is enough to seat the star retainer.
2) Use a larger diameter punch to push the star down and tilt it in order to have it pop up.

Great Product
I ordered two of these for some spare 17 rounders to cover the gap you get using a 17 round magazine in a c2. They work and seat really well. good looking. nice weight to them. good finish. Im very pleased with the purchase. *I tried some 17 round mags with these baseplates WITH my factory c2 magwell and they seated/ran perfectly. I know 10-8 says not intended, and YMMV but my c2 with a factory c2 Magwell accepts 17 round mags with these plates like it came from staccato that way originally. When I come across more mags, I'll get more of these plates for sure.

Good Product
I purchased 2x of the 2011 MAGAZINE BASE PAD, 126MM TO C2/ODS for some spare 17 rounders I had laying around. They pass function check, the magazine falls freely and faster than a standard 17 round mag, and they look great. It's a flush fit and eliminates that annoying gap. If I end up with more 17 rounders I'll grab more of these for sure. 5 stars for function and form.

126 mm basedpad for C2
Second pair bought. First pair I used for checkmate 126mm and the circle basepad lock fits perfect. This pair I used with Staccato mags with star baseplate locks. I like the checkmate circle better than the star. Looks flimsy to me. Oiled baseplate up and finish looks great!

Satisfied in the product.finish was uniform throughout but basepad was a little rough, don't know if it was the aluminum or the nitride or what ever finish this is. All of this is knit picky, only place I know that makes these.

I recently received a couple of magazine base pads for my Staccato C-2 17 rounders. They fit the mags great, were simple to install and work great in the pistol. Very pleased.

These are solid and the fit and finish is great! They work great for running the Staccato P 17 round mags on my C2. Highly recommend them.
