Reverse collar spring plug for 4.25" cone barrel Springfield Emissary .45/9mm, and 4.25" Prodigy 1911 DS.

Eliminates need to use factory guide rod and open plug, which requires the use of a paper clip or other tool to capture the spring for takedown. No more! This plug has the same concave solid end as our GI format 1911 plugs, and allows the 4.25" Emissary or 4.25" Prodigy to run a shortened GI style guide rod setup.

Fits in from rear of spring tunnel, exactly the same as the factory part.  Reconfiguring your gun requires this plug, a Commander length spring guide (order ours HERE), and a Commander length recoil spring (the factory spring is fine).
