Description
Barrel Bushing for 1911 Government Model, all calibers. Machined from stainless steel with natural finish. Flange is .100" thick and matches perfectly with the 10-8 Spring Plug or most Colt/GI style plugs. Flange has carry bevel machined into outside edge. OD is nominal .702", ID (bore) is nominal .579" with straight bore. Typically requires some fitting in most Government Model style slides, amount of fitting required will vary by individual slide/barrel combination.

Barrel Bushing, 1911 Govt-
Unfortunately not what I was expecting. It wasn't able to fit my firearm. It was too big to fit the slide of my firearm, and the bore was too small for the barrel to fit through.

My go to bushing
Paired with the domed 10-8 plug, this bushing looks great. Requires fitting because it comes oversize but if you know what you’re doing you can get it to fit nice and snug.

Fantastic hidden gem in the 1911 Bushing world!
Top notch quality. I fit this on my Colt Government. This is NOT a drop in part by any means but if you are patient and fit this properly it will do wonders to your barrel fitment. It is now rock solid on my slide. Paired with the 10-8 domed spring plug, this looks fantastic. This is now my new go to bushing. Just be warned that it will take a lot of elbow grease if you don't have special machinery like me but worth it.

10-8 Barrel bushing
I recently purchased and installed the 10-8 barrel bushing into my Colt series 70 1911. After proper fitting, thank you Hilton for the instruction on Patreon, the bushing provided a much smoother and precise fit than the factory part. The carry bevel on the bushing is a great touch! As with all 10-8 parts, you can't go wrong with this bushing!
