10-8 1911 Grip Panels, Black, with Hilton Yam signature inlay. Panels are standard Government frame length, GI profile (covers plunger tube), 5 LPI checkered G10 glass/epoxy composite, mag catch scoop, cut for ambidextrous safety, flat bottom (compatible with add on mag wells like S&A etc.) with mainspring housing pin cutout.

Grip Panel Review
The VZ panels are made with the best materials and the fit is perfect. Add in 10-8’s touch with the center inserts and my hard use pistol is more mysterious! I highly recommend 10-8’s grip panels and the armorer’s tool.

Practical and classy
These grips have an ideal texture for both duty and off-duty use, and the super scoop helps reloads with my short thumbs. The inlay adds a classy touch, and as a bonus complements my uniform (gold badge/brass snaps, and red pants stripe). Don't forget to get the 10-8 grip screws too!

10-8 Black grips

10-8 classic grips
I only bought these because I wanted them ten years ago. I prefer finer checkering, a little color, and a smaller thumb notch. Turns out... I love the coarse checkering, black, and especially the super scoop! What a nice surprise!

Grip panels
IMO, hands down the best feeling grips on the market. I have owned many 1911s over the years and many sets of grip panels. These are buy far the most aggressive but more comfortable at the same time.

Great looking hard-working
Ordered these along with the olive drab ones and couldn't be happier. They have a great feature set for a grip and the little square with the signature looks great when you match these with the silver screws. Only issue I had was the insert rubbed on the magazines but just a tiny bit of filing and some extra fine sandpaper took care of that no problem. Also, I had no such issue with the olive drab ones so it might have been the bushings on my pistol

Inlay grips
I waited about 4 months until the black inlay grips were back in stock. I replaced the OEM grips on my Emissary. The gun looks better and the feel is better as the Slim grips on the pistol were too small for my hands.
