S&W M&P Dovetail Front Sight, for all M&P models. Our front sights are made from hardened 4140 bar stock for improved durability. They feature a narrowed front section to provide a clean sight picture even if the forward part of the blade is dinged up or dirty.

Blade width is .125", with a 40lpi serrated front face.  All M&P compact, mid size, and full size models use the .160" height front, while the long slide 9L and Pro Series use the .180" front.

Choose from fiber optic, brass bead insert (.075" diameter, domed, polished face) or plain green .075" tritium insert with no white outline.  Fiber optic comes with 1 each red and green fiber rods.

**We are aware that older generations of our front sights may be loose in some M&P slides, especially newer production pistols.  There has been a wide variation in the dimensions of the S&W slide dovetails over the production cycles.  Please contact us directly if your sight is too loose, and we will accept it for return or exchange.

All of the in stock .160" height sights are NEW production dimensions and should be tighter in all dovetails.  New production .160" tritium front sights are pending production.  All .180" front sights have been pulled and are pending new production with the larger dovetail.  Please check the Out of Stock Items link on the homepage for updates on production of all the new front sights.  Thank you for your patience.
