The Glock Sight In Tool (SIT) is a single use nylon sight blade that can be installed on all models of Glock pistols. This tool temporarily replaces the front sight blade for sight in purposes. Install the tool, shoot a test target, and file/sand the overheight blade down to increase the elevation of the group. Once you have filed the blade to the height that gives you the desired point of impact, remove it and measure its height. You can then determine the proper height front sight to purchase for your particular pistol. Each kit sold will include ONE of the sight blades and ONE set screw. Sandpaper is also included for convenience.
The product photo gallery includes step by step instructions on how to install and use the SIT.

I used your plastic front "try" sight on my Glock 35 - worked like a charm! This is brilliant. How many posts have I read on various forums with folks trying to figure out what sight height to order for their pistol? Well, with a Glock and this tool it's just too easy. Installation was simple and the directions on your website removed any of the guess work with that. I went to the range with a decent bastard file in hand. Shot a group, took a couple licks with the file. Shot another group and a bit more filing, a couple groups more to verify and Done! People were watching - trying to figure out what the heck I was up to, but they could see the group and then my monkeying around and then the group - almost ended up with a little cheering section. After shooting in, I dismantled the sight and measured with a dial caliper. I ended up finding a front sight with a few thousandths of an inch of the dimension I'd filed to. Good to go - too cool.
