Loading... Please wait...Our 1911 grip panels are cut from G10 glass/epoxy composite in a hyper aggressive 5 line per inch (lpi) pattern. They feature a .250" thick ordnance pattern radius, with ambi safety cutout, MSH pin cutouts, flat bottom, and aggressive mag catch scoop. The rugged materials resist impact and abrasion exceptionally well, and offer a long service life. The G10 is extremely hard and durable, and takes the checkering pattern to a fine point, which stays aggressive through extended use. The G10 composite material is totally impervious to water, oil, solvents, and most other common chemicals. It can be decontaminated in bleach solution after being exposed to hazardous materials that may be encountered in duty use. Black G10, 5lpi, "Yam" signature inlay. Fits full sized 1911 pattern pistols.
**Please note that colors may not appear true on your computer monitor, and the actual grips may have slight color variations from what you see here. Grips are produced in limited runs, and colors/models may be discontinued without notice. In other words, if you like them, get them while they last!
***The scoop is for access to the magazine catch, and is not a thumb rest. When shooting a 1911, your thumb should be located on top of the thumb safety. As such, these grips are only made with the scoop located on the left side with the magazine catch - ie. there is no "left handed" version.

I bought these for a Springfield Pro model, which has very sharp front checkering like the TRP. The grips look great, and as expected, have a very aggressive texture. It may be too sharp for some. I did have to remove a fair amount of material from the right panel to accommodate the ambi safety on the Pro. But G10 is easy to fit. I recommend sanding the backs of the panels with fine sandpaper to smooth out any high spots. (True of any G10 grips.) The flat bottom also fit the magwell perfectly. I'm very pleased with the overall effect.

Finding a grip that is practical is one thing but finding one that's practical and great looking is a different matter. That's what these grips are. You don't have to worry about losing your grip with these, they just stick to your hand like glue. I have them on a Springfield TRP, which many people don't like the checkering on the frontstrap. But if you're like me and don't mind an agressive frontrap, then you won't mind the texturing on these panels. Great job 10-8!
