Product Description
Grip Tape for 1911 front strap, Medium (similar traction to 20lpi checkering). Adhesive backed, set of 5. For best results, apply only to smooth front straps. Thoroughly degrease front strap with acetone or alchohol prior to application.

I put these with the Ultra Grip on my Kimber Warrior. I love it! The gun didn't come with a Checkered front strap, don't feel like I need to get it done now. The 10-8 Strips work just fine. Especially since this gun is a range dog, I like to have the best grip I can get.

Installed these on my Kimber that has a smooth front strap and they work great! I sweat a lot here in New Mexico and having this makes a huge difference when my hands start to get slippery! They are cut very cleanly and actually don't look bad on the gun. When I showed it to a friend recently he thought that was how the gun came and was surprised it was just grip tape.

I have this tape on the front straps of a couple of 1911's that I have and it works great. In fact, it worked so well from keeping my hand from slipping that I had to take some emory (sp?) cloth and sand the gripping texture down a little to be able to adjust my grip if needed. Highly recommended.
