FrogLube is a new bio-based gun cleaner, lubricant and preservative (CLP) product made from food-grade ingredients all obtained exclusively from US suppliers.  We have tested this product extensively, and have found it to be effective and functions as advertised.  In our testing, we have found that it is exceptional for corrosion removal and prevention.  It has also performed well as a bore cleaner paste.  While the manufacturer has indicated that the product should be applied to heated metal for optimum results, testing has shown that simply wiping the paste on, rubbing it in, and wiping off the excess is sufficient for efficient rust removal and prevention.  For bore cleaning, simply apply to your brush or patch, pass through the bore as normal until clean, then run a few dry patches through.  An added benefit of Froglube is that it is nontoxic and fume free, with a pleasant minty aroma.  

We still use 10-8 Lube as our primary weapons lube, and have had no adverse effects with the two products in proximity of one another.  In other words, we have not had any problems using Froglube as a corrosion inhibitor or cleaner, and still using 10-8 Lube as the wet lubricant.
