Loading... Please wait...Our 1911 grip panels are cut from G10 glass/epoxy composite in an aggressive 5 line per inch (lpi) pattern. They feature a .250" thick ordnance pattern radius, with ambi safety cutout, MSH pin cutouts, and flat bottom. The rugged materials resist impact and abrasion exceptionally well, and offer a long service life. The G10 is extremely hard and durable, and takes the checkering pattern to a fine point, which stays aggressive through extended use. The G10 composite material is totally impervious to water, oil, solvents, and most other common chemicals. It can be decontaminated in bleach solution after being exposed to hazardous materials that may be encountered in duty use.
G10 with aggressive relief cut for magazine catch. Fits full sized 1911 pattern pistols.
**Please note that colors may not appear true on your computer monitor, and the actual grips may have slight color variations from what you see here. Grips are produced in limited runs, and colors/models may be discontinued without notice. In other words, if you like them, get them while they last!
***The scoop is for access to the magazine catch, and is not a thumb rest. When shooting a 1911, your thumb should be located on top of the thumb safety. As such, these grips are only made with the scoop located on the left side with the magazine catch - ie. there is no "left handed" version.

Very functional and aggressive grip. I love using the aggressive grips on my pistols especially since I take extended range trips. It feels like it grips your hands back and makes sure you don't lose your grip even with moist palms and sustained firing. The large scoop allows easier access to the magazine release.

These grips are both functional and look very cool. The texture is very aggressive and while not unbearable, will take some getting used to. The grips make the gun stick like glue. Color is true to the picture. The scoop works very well and will never again own grips without them.

I ordered these grips in coyote brown to install on my Kimber Pro Carry II Commander sized gun. Grips fit perfect and work amazing. There is absolutely no slip to your grip with these on. I ended up sanding the points down slightly because I use this gun for concealed carry and it was a little abrasive to my love handles ha ha! I also really appreciate the scoop in the grips because with a short thumb it's is hard for me to hit the mag catch. I love the way these look and get a lot of compliments on them.

I've tried many different styles of 1911 grip panels, all for the full-size government model, from a variety of grip makers, and the aggressive texture combined with the thumb groove for easy access to the magazine release button make these grips the best I've come across yet. And with the variety of colors here, there's something to go great with any kind of finish your 1911 might have. Highly recommended!

At first I felt the grips were to aggressive I took a straight fife to the one grip and slowly took a little bit at a time off of the sharp 5LPI grip. After I filed it down and washed them off, they looked like new and are very PERFECT!!! Filing them did not change the color at all. I bought two pair one for my 9mm Les Baer and the other for my 45ACP Les Baer. They are comfortable with a little filing and the colors look great. I am very happy with the 2 sets of grips. The colors on the sales page match the grip color. The material the grips are made of is great because you can modify them to a custom fit and feel.

I own three pairs of these grips so far and prefer them over the 18lpi due to their grip. They give you a great grip in any condition without being overly aggressive. The magazine release scoop is also a very nice feature and allows for quick magazine changes.

The 5LPI grip pattern can only be described as very aggressive. It feels almost like holding on to a wood rasp. Colors in person aren't as close to the pictures as I would have hoped. The grey/ghosts is a bit lighter than I expected but overall I am happy. The grip would be IDEAL for a shooter that had to train or employ with a gloved hand but might be a bit too much texture for a recreational shooter.
